Positions start at $16.00 and up based on certifications and experience.
Upon hire, new employee forms must be completed and submitted by the employee prior to their first day of work. Human Resources will need time to process all paperwork, therefore completed documentation should be provided as soon as possible.
New Employees will be required to complete the following forms in their entirety and submit them to the Parks & Recreation Department.
Required:
- Employee Data Sheet
- Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)
- NYS Employee's Withholding (IT-2104)
- W-4 Employees Withholding Certificate
- Employee Eligibility Verification (I-9)
- Employees' Retirement System Membership Registration or Waiver (NYSLRS)
- Civil Service Application for Examination or Employment
- Authorization Agreement for Automatic Direct Deposit of Payroll (optional)
- Motor Vehicle Record Release (Only if driving of town vehicles is a job requirement)
- Employee Handbook Acknowledgement Form (last page of booklet)
- Working Papers (if under 18 years of age)
Documentation will need to be provided to the Parks & Recreation staff along with the appropriate acceptable employment verification documents as required per the Employment Eligibility Verification I-9 form, see back of form for a list of acceptable documents.

- Acceptable Eligibility Verification Documents (Per back of I-9 form)
As applicable:
- NYS Employee's Withholding (IT-2104); only when making changes to deduction amounts
- W-4 Employees Withholding Certificate; only when making changes to deduction amounts
- Employees' Retirement System Membership Waiver - NYSLRS (if not previously enrolled or plan to enroll in the NYSLRS retirement system)
- Authorization Agreement for Automatic Direct Deposit of Payroll (when documentation submitted previously requires changes )
- Motor Vehicle Record Release (Only if driving of town vehicles is a job requirement)
- Working papers (if under 18 years of age)
