Message From The Chief
Welcome to the Guilderland Police Department and what we hope is a useful, informative website. Our Department is comprised of forty sworn officers, eleven telecommunicators, three administrative personnel and our animal control unit.
The Guilderland Police Department was established in 1972 and has been a New York State Accredited Agency since 2009. As the Department approaches 50 years of service to our community it is an honor to lead our dedicated members into the future. In close partnership with our community we strive to serve our residents and visitors with honor and integrity.
The members of our Department continue to work tirelessly to build and foster positive relationships with our community based upon mutual respect and transparency.
