The Richard Murray Animal Shelter is open on Monday through Friday by appointment only and on Saturday from Noon to 5 pm for walk-ins. Occasionally, emergency calls will require staff to be in other locations during those hours.
If you are interested in adopting a pet, you are encouraged to contact the shelter at 861-6855 to discuss the steps involved. Our commitment to finding homes for orphaned animals includes both an interview and a home visit to ensure placement with qualified and loving families.
