Responsibilities

The Planning Department provides administrative support to the Planning Board and Conservation Advisory Council, including the processing of subdivision applications and coordinating review, where necessary, among the Planning Board, Town Board, Albany County Planning Board, and GCAC.

The Department maintains the Town's official zoning map, disseminates information to residents about the planning and subdivision processes, and administers the Geographic Information System.
